Over the past few months, shoppers at NorthPark Center may have noticed a number of barricades going up throughout the shopping mall. Now, NorthPark has finally announced the reasoning for these blockades, as they will soon open 12 new stores throughout the mall. The stores will consist of restaurants, clothing shops, boutiques and jewelry stores that will open in the coming months.
NorthPark Center has spent the past few months leasing out space throughout the mall. While some of these stores attempted to open before Christmas, delays have pushed the opening dates back. Now, the mall has announced exactly what will be added and there is plenty to be excited about. According to Dallas Morning News, one of the biggest spaces will be for a new restaurant called Joey, which spent $8.5 million renovating the former Seasons 52 location.
Some other shops being added includes a Gucci store, Austin-based boot brand Tecovas, men's clothing brands Rhone and Todd Snyder, luxury shoe and handbag store Clergerie Paris, Parisian boutique Maison Margiela, Marni, Blue Nile, Creed and Swiss watchmaker Breitling. There will even be a Nike Rise location that will take up two levels. While no opening dates have been announced, with these new stores NorthPark will soon be unrecognizable.
