There are plenty of places to play golf all throughout DFW, but nothing quite like what is about to open in Frisco. After much anticipation, the Omni PGA Frisco Resort is only a few months away from their grand opening. Now, to get ready for the big day the resort has announced they are looking to hire 1,000 new employees across a number of different departments.
The Omni PGA Frisco Resort is currently the biggest resort under construction in America. Once open, it will feature a 500-room hotel and spa with 127,000 square feet of meeting space, 10 ranch homes for rent along with 13 restaurants, two championship golf courses and the largest putting green in America. To make sure there is enough staff to handle all these amenities, the resort will hire 1,000 employees before their grand opening in May.
According to CBS DFW, there will be hiring events on February 3 and 4 as they look to fill 200 different types of jobs. “It's one of the largest hiring initiatives in history of both counties," said Jeff Smith, who oversees the resort. For anyone looking for a new career, this might just be the place to look.
