Over the years, Oreo has attempted a variety of different cookie and crème filling flavors. While many stick with the classic flavor, some of the limited edition cookies have gained huge followings of fans that will do anything to see them back on shelves. Now, Oreo has unveiled a first-ever cookie flavor to celebrate the brand’s 110th birthday, and fans of birthday cake will definitely want to give it a try.
The first ever Oreo was sold at a grocery store in Hoboken, New Jersey back in 1912. Now 110 years later, the cookies have their own shelf at most grocery stores filled with a variety of Oreo flavors. Starting January 31st, a new flavor will be added to the shelf, as the cookie company has unveiled a new Chocolate Confetti Cake to celebrate their birthday.

According to CNN, the limited edition cookie features sprinkles in both the cookie and the frosting, along with two layers of filling; the classic crème flavor, and a new chocolate-cake flavored crème. Oreo’s official birthday will be celebrated on March 6th. Hopefully everyone celebrates with their new flavor.
