The internet is full of people’s attempts to take two classic songs and turn them into one masterpiece. While plenty of these end up as failures, every once in a while someone finds a combination that is so odd, most can’t stop listening. The latest example of this comes from DJ Cummerbund, who made a mashup combining Ozzy Osbourne and The Beach Boys.
DJ Cummerbund has gone viral in the past thanks to his inventive mashup ideas, but his latest may be his most popular yet. His new song combines Ozzy Osbourne’s ‘Mama, I’m Coming Home, with the Beach Boys 1964 hit, ‘Fun, Fun, Fun.’ Since sharing the mashup to his YouTube channel, the video has been viewed over 28,000 times.
According to Metal Sucks, the mixture of the two songs comes off as smooth, despite their very different styles. Many online were impressed with the mashup, asking DJ Cummerbund to come up with more Ozzy Osbourne and Beach Boys collaborations. Maybe this will lead to the real musicians working together in the future.
