Usually when a band gets inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame, their set is all about celebrating their history. However, when a Beatle shows up to induct you, it's better to give the crowd what they really want. That's exactly what Foo Fighters did this weekend, as Paul McCartney joined the band to play the Beatles' classic 'Get Back' during this weekend's event.
Paul McCartney inducted Foo Fighters into the rock and roll hall of fame in Cleveland, Ohio over the weekend, and while many fans thought his involvement would end there, the music icon decided to hit the stage with the band as well. As seen in the fan shot clip from this weekend's event, McCartney leads the band in a rendition of 'Get Back.' Fans were clearly excited about the performance, as many say this is what they look forward to seeing the most when the ceremony airs on TV at a later date.
Of course, Foo Fighters weren't the only artists to put on a show over the weekend. According to Outsider, Tina Turner, The Go-Gos, Jay-Z, Carole King and Todd Rundgren were also inducted. Now fans will just have to wait and see if any of their performances out did McCartney and Foo Fighters.
