As anyone who has moved out of Texas knows, returning to the Lone Star state is always a sweet feeling. This is especially true when coming back with something to share with the place they once called home. That’s exactly what photographer Markus Klinko will be feeling when he returns to the metroplex later this month for an exhibit featuring his collection of star-studded photos.

Starting June 9, Markus Klinko’s collection of celebrity and fashion photoshoots will be on display at Markowicz Fine Art at 1700 Oak Lawn Ave. According to Dallas Observer, the exhibit features photos from music royalty, such as David Bowie, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears. "This is a homecoming for me. Even though I only lived in Dallas for six months, it was a very important junction of my life,” said Klinko.

Klinko lived in DFW during the 1980s, working as a classical harp soloist for the Dallas Chamber Ensemble. The exhibit titled ‘Icons: Bowie to Beyoncé’ will run through June 22. Hopefully he is ready to make the metroplex proud.
