Most people have heard of New York or Chicago style pizza, but soon there may be another city with their own style of pizza. While Texas is mostly known for BBQ and Tex-Mex, one DFW pizzeria is trying to put “Texas-style pizza” on the map. Grapevine’s Sauce’d recently announced plans to expand, bringing their Texas pizza to Fort Worth.
Downtown Grapevine’s Sauce’d is a takeout only pizzeria that has become known for their “Texas-style pizza.” Now, the pizza shop will expand to Fort Worth, taking over a 90-year-old historic home in South Main Village.
According to Fort Worth Star Telegram, the new restaurant, the Sauce’d House, will be located at 304 W. Cannon St.

Along with their Texas-style pizza, the new restaurant will serve burgers, beer and wine along with Sauce’d’s Grapevine menu of New York-style thin crust pizza. As for the Texas pizza, it is a pizza with a stretched, rolled garlic-butter crust. It’s only a matter of time until the entire country is ordering their pizza Texas-style.
