Politicians are always looking for new ways to relate to their constituents. While their position may sometimes make them seem out of touch, in the end most have similar interests to the people they represent. Still, many were shocked when Sweden’s Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson went on national radio recently to let the country know, she is a huge fan of System of a Down.
Sweden’s Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson has a pretty impressive resume, as the Harvard University-educated former Minister for Finance became the country’s first female Prime Minister last year. However, it’s Andersson’s taste in music that has the entire world paying attention to her.
The Prime Minister recently made an appearance on a national radio show in Sweden, where she was asked what type of music she listens to.
“When it comes to rock, it’s System of A Down,” said Andersson to the surprise of many. According to Louder Sound, the Prime Minister went on to say she listens to the band all the time, even when at home or at a party.
She definitely now has some new fans to rock out with.
