DFW travelers are lucky enough to have two airports to fly out of, but often North Texans argue over which airport is better. Luckily, they won’t need to debate the airport topic anymore thanks to a new report that not only named one of the metroplex airports as the best in Texas, but also one of the best in the country. J.D. Powers’ 2022 North America Airport Satisfaction Study recently ranked Dallas Love Field as the third best airport in America.
Of the six major airports in Texas, none scored higher than Dallas Love Field on J.D. Powers’ 2022 North America Airport Satisfaction Study. The airport scored a 825 on a 1,000-point scale, only trailing Tampa International Airport in Florida (846) and John Wayne Airport in Orange County, California (826). “Providing a first-rate customer experience is, without question, our No. 1 goal,” said Mark Duebner, aviation director for the City of Dallas.
According to Dallas Culture Map, DFW International Airport ranked as the fifth best in Texas with a score of 778. The scores were based on survey responses from 26,529 U.S. and Canadian residents who had traveled through at least one U.S. or Canadian airport in the previous 30 days. For now, Love Field has some major bragging rights over DFW international Airport.
