Any time a Texan is asked to pick their favorite of something, they will usually pick the item that comes from their home state. Whether it's food, clothing, household items or any other product, the brands from Texas always do well in the Lone Star State. However, when it comes to picking which Texas beer brand is the best, many find it hard to choose. Luckily, a new report has helped figure out what is Texas' favorite beer.
Eat This, Not That! recently released a report on the top beer choice for every state. They broke it down between two lists; most popular beer, and most popular cheap beer. For Texans, usually the decision comes down to Shiner or Lone Star, and based on this report Lone Star has the edge.
According to CW33, Lone Star was Texas' top choice on both lists. The report says, "Lone Star is the National Beer of Texas, so naturally many Texans drink it." While the Shiner fans won't be happy, at least they didn't pick an out of state beer as Texas' favorite.
