Just about everyone with a job thinks they are being overworked. However, for Texans that’s apparently the case more often than not. A new study has ranked Texas as the most overworked state in the entire country.

Lensa recently unveiled their rankings of the most overworked states in America. The study looked at working hours, salaries, commute times and google searches for “burnout” to determine the rankings. According to CW33, the data showed that Texas was the most overworked state.

“The Lone Star State ranks first thanks to it being in the top five for longest working hours, with employees averaging 40 hours per week. Texas also takes second place for its workforce using the search term “burnout”, making it the most stressed state in our index,” said the study. Following Texas was Florida/Louisiana, Tennessee, South Carolina and West Virginia. Now workers and Texas have a way to prove to their boss they’re being overworked.
