Reunion Tower is arguably the most iconic building in the Dallas skyline, but for the last few years the room at the top has remained vacant. Now, it has been announced that a new restaurant will be moving into the space next year. However, the restaurant will sadly no longer take advantage of the spinning dining room inside the ball.
When Wolfgang Puck’s Five Sixty restaurant closed in May of 2020, many in DFW wondered what would take over the iconic location inside Reunion Tower. Now, over two years later that question has finally been answered, as it was recently announced a new steakhouse called Crown Block will be opening in the Spring of 2023. Husband-wife business partners Elizabeth Blau and chef Kim Canteenwalla will collaborate with the Hunt family on the new restaurant.

While many are excited to hear a new restaurant is coming to town, sadly Crown Block will get rid of the spinning dining room Reunion Tower has become known for. According to Dallas Morning News, private event hosts on the 17th floor can choose whether that room should spin or remain stationary. Soon, DFW will have another restaurant with a great view of the city.
