The town of Shamrock, TX, about 291 miles northwest of Dallas, only has about 1,800 residents living there.
However, the “gateway to the Southwest” has earned quite the distinction for the number of adult toys its residents are buying.
And not just any adult toys, either. Tiny Shamrock, TX buys more fantasy adult toys than any other city in the country. These adult toys resemble anything but the traditional male anatomy, ranging in everything from dragons, to unicorns, to tentacles, really to all matter of various fictional monsters.
Shamrock is gobbling them all up. In fact, the Dallas Observer estimated that at least 1% of the entirety of Shamrock has at least one fantasy adult toy.
The data, which came courtesy of British adult toy company Lovehoney, found that interestingly enough, Texas ranked in the bottom 6% for total adult toy purchases. Dallas specifically ranked 639th out of 1,216 cities for overall toy demand.
