There have been many reboots made over the last few years, but one fans have spent years demanding is now only two months away from becoming a reality. While fans will still have to wait until November for the ‘Dexter’ reboot, Showtime gave them a taste of what’s to come this week. The latest trailer for ‘Dexter: New Blood’ has fan anticipation at an all-time high.

There have been few details unveiled about the upcoming ‘Dexter’ reboot, but the latest trailer gave fans a clearer look of what to expect. As seen in the trailer, the reboot will see the return of Dexter’s son, Harrison, along with his sister Debra, who was killed off in the show’s final season. In the reboot, Harrison will be played by Jack Alcott, who recently said of his character, “Harrison has had a really rough time for the past eight years. Like, it’s not been great. He learns that his dad is not dead and goes to find him.”

Others expected to return for the ‘Dexter’ reboot include John Lithgow, who played The Trinity Killer, and the original showrunner, Clyde Phillips. The new season will consist of 10 episodes and will premiere November 7, according to NME. For ‘Dexter’ fans, the wait is almost over.
