Many people have skydiving near the top of their bucket list. The thrill seeking activity has become a go-to for people looking to create some excitement in their life. Sadly for one skydiver, his landing ended up being more eventful than the actual skydiving. California rescue crews had to save a skydiver recently after his parachute got caught in power lines, leaving him dangling for over an hour.
The incident occurred earlier this week in California, as photos of the man caught in the power lines quickly went viral. Crews from the Riverside County Fire Department, Riverside County Sheriff’s Office and Southern California Edison responded to the scene, eventually removing the man who suffered minor injuries. “The patient was evaluated by firefighters on scene and transported to an area hospital by ground ambulance minor injuries to their lower extremities,” the Riverside County Fire Department wrote on Twitter.
According to Fox News, the skydiver was stuck in the lines for over an hour before being saved. Many online said seeing this incident made them cross skydiving off their bucket list, while others said it made them want to do it more. Seems like rescue crews may soon be rescuing even more skydivers form power lines.
