Far too often kids accidentally leave behind their favorite toys when traveling. While sometimes they are able to get their cherished item back, most of the time they are forced to move on to something new. Luckily for one child that was traveling from Dallas Love Field recently, Southwest Airlines wasn’t willing to let her beloved stuffed animal stay lost forever.
A young girl named Luna was recently traveling with her mother when she accidentally left her fluffy stuffed animal named Dog Dog in a rental car at the airport. Luckily her mother got in touch with a Southwest Ops Agent named Christina, who assured them she would keep Dog Dog safe until they could return to get it. Now, Southwest has shared photos of the stuffed animal’s time at the airport that have since gone viral.

According to WFAA, Christina held onto the stuffed animal, taking it on a number of adventures and keeping it safe until Luna and her mother returned to Dallas almost a month later to pick it up. Many commenters couldn’t believe the effort Christina took, as one said "This is the cutest most loving thing this Southwest employee could do!" Hopefully more employees go the extra mile now the next time they find a child’s lost toy.
