The State Fair of Texas has officially come to a close, but apparently quite a few items have been left behind. Every year people visit Fair Park with their pockets full, only to leave missing a few possessions. Luckily, the fair recently announced they still have over 1,000 items at their lost and found and there is still a chance for visitors to come pick it up.
Over 2.5 million people visited the State Fair of Texas this year, but sadly not everyone left with all their belongings. While many probably thought those items would never be found again, the fair is claiming they still have over 1,000 items waiting to be picked up. “If it's lost out here, it ends up here. We get keys, phones, wallets, IDs, driver's licenses, credit cards, backpacks, strollers,” said Linda Kindt, the safety team manager.

According to CBS DFW, the lost and found will remain open through Friday, October 28th. After Friday, any remaining items will either be donated or destroyed. For anyone still missing some valuables, they may want to check and see if they are at Fair Park before it’s too late.
