Usually, there is only one reason a beer drinker may choose one style over another; taste. However, a recent study may have found a new reason for beer drinkers to choose craft beer next time they place an order, or head to the fridge. The recent study found that drinking craft beer has anti-aging benefits thanks to a higher concentration of phenols and antioxidants.

Craft beers are products that come from small, independent brewers that, according to a recent study, contain higher concentrations of compounds called phenols and antioxidants than mass-produced beers. The study compared the molecular content found in different kinds of craft beers to determine their findings.
