Whenever a sports fan leaves their home town, they often stick with supporting the team they grew up watching. Of course, some fan bases are more loyal than others, as certain cities take dedication to their sports franchises to a new level. Now, a new study has revealed the best sports cities in the US, and Dallas was ranked as one of the best.

WalletHub recently conducted a study to find the best sports cities in the country. They determined the rankings by looking at 392 cities across over 50 metrics. Based on fan bases for five sports; football, basketball, baseball, hockey and soccer, Dallas was ranked as the 5th best sports town in the US.
