The airport was recently ranked as the “most stressful” airport in the nation, in a study conducted by Rightway Parking.
The study compared 55 major airports across the US, using data from the U.S. Bureau of Transportation and Google Maps to measure each airport based on five factors: 2025 flight delay and cancellation rates, change in delay rates between 2021 and 2025, and driving distance and time between an airport and downtown.
According to CultureMap Dallas, DFW had the highest rate of flight delays at 27.86%, and the third-highest rate of flight cancellations at 2.76%, making it the only airport in the top three for both measures.
None of Texas’ four other major airports landed in the top ten. Love Field was not included in the study.
The title of the least stressful airport in the nation goes to Salt Lake City International Airport.
