Thanksgiving is only a few weeks away and many throughout DFW are starting to think of their menu for the big day. While items like turkey and mashed potatoes are guaranteed to be on the menu, when it comes to stuffing, the chef has a number of options to choose from. Luckily, a new study recently unveiled each state’s favorite style of stuffing, helping out those cooking around the country.
The Takeout recently released a map showing each state’s choice for Thanksgiving stuffing. Using Google Trends, the study was able to determine each state’s pick and while most went with the classic cornbread stuffing, there were a few surprises as well. According to The Takeout, Texas was one of the 15 states to pick cornbread stuffing as their favorite.

While most states picked cornbread, there were some others in the mix as well. Some of these included sausage stuffing, turkey stuffing and the surprising “red jello stuffing.” With this study, it will be easy for any Thanksgiving chef to pick the perfect stuffing for their guests.
