Christmas is right around the corner, which means many homes are already stocked up with their favorite holiday season treats. While holidays like Halloween and Easter are known for their sweets, Christmas candy is beloved by many as well. Now, a new study has revealed each state’s favorite Christmas candy, and some of the choices may come as a surprise.
Candystore.com recently released their annual map of every state’s favorite Christmas candy. For Texas, last year’s choice was Peppermint Bark. However, things changed a bit this year, as last year’s favorite came in second place behind Reese’s Cup Minis in 2022, according to KCRG.
Reese’s was the top choice for a number of states this year, though some of the other popular choices were Chocolate Santa’s, M&M’s, Starbursts and Hershey Kisses. Of course, not everyone agreed with the list, wondering why their favorites didn’t make the cut. Maybe next year, Texas will agree with their top choice.
