Plenty of people wish they could travel more, but usually a combination of time and money prevent them from doing so. Luckily, there is a new airline that is hoping to solve both of those problems. Boom Supersonic recently unveiled their first demonstrator aircraft, as they plan to be able to fly anywhere in the world in four hours for just $100 by 2026.

Supersonic air travel has been a dream of the aviation industry for years, but due to cost the dream faded away in recent years. However, a few new startups have sparked interest in supersonic and hypersonic projects once again, and now one of those companies is starting to show real potential that travelers can get excited about. According to Boom Supersonic CEO Blake Scholl, “Either we fail or we change the world.”

The company hopes their Mach 2.2 commercial airliner is flying people around the globe by 2026. According to CNN, the aircraft is designed to seat between 65 and 88 people. Soon enough flight times won’t prevent people from seeing the world.
