Halloween is only a few weeks away, which means stores are stocked up with just about every type of candy imaginable. However, with so many options to choose from, around this time every year research is done to determine each states favorite candy. This year is no different, as the top choice for the state of Texas in 2022 is Starburst.
Candystore.com recently unveiled their 2022 map of each state’s top Halloween candy choice. Using data from their website, they shared the each state’s top three, and while it was full of favorites there were a few surprises as well. According to NBC DFW, the top choice for Texas was Starburst, followed by Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups and Sour Patch Kids.
For the entire country, Reece’s Peanut Butter Cups took the top spot, followed by Skittles and M&M’s. Some of the surprises were Hot Tamales and Salt Water Taffy making the list. Thanks to this study, people don’t have to worry about being the house with bad candy this year.
