Over the last year, many employees got very comfortable with the idea of working from home. While some aspects of their job may have seemed impossible to do from outside of the office at first, many have figured out ways to be even more productive while working from home. Now, a new survey has revealed that 1 in 3 remote workers say they would quit if asked to return to the office.
With businesses across the country starting to reopen, many workers will soon be asked to return to their office. However, according to the survey done by Wisetail, a good portion of those employees are hoping to continue working from the comfort of their own home. According to the survey which polled 2,000 Americans; 39% of respondents would rather take a pay cut than return to the office.
The survey also found that nearly half of those polled started a new job within the past year and 55% are currently work remotely, according to StudyFinds.org. Of course, not everyone will be looking to quit when asked to return to the office. While everyone dreams of that quitting moment, for most it never comes.
