Actors often talk about the work they put in to create a character, sometimes going a little too far with their preparation. However, rarely do they get to the point where acting may cost them their lives. Yet, that’s exactly what happened to Sylvester Stallone during the filming of ‘Rocky IV.’ According to the actor a punch from Dolph Lundgren during filming sent him to the hospital, where he almost died.

Sylvester Stallone recently shared a documentary on his YouTube channel titled ‘The Making of Rocky vs Drago by Sylvester Stallone.’ In the video, Stallone makes the revelation that he almost died during the filming of ‘Rocky IV.’ “[Lundgren] pulverized me. And I didn’t feel it in the moment but later that night my heart started to swell. My blood pressure went up to 260 and I was going to be talking to angels. Next thing I know I’m on this emergency, low-altitude flight,” said Stallone.
