When it was first announced in 2020 that Taco Bell would be removing the Mexican Pizza from menus, many loyal customers thought they would never return to the fast food chain again. Fast forward to today, and the Mexican Pizza is not only back on menus, but now Taco Bell is looking to add some variety as well. Taco Bell is currently testing two new versions of the Mexican pizza, and many are hoping it gets brought to menus nationwide soon.

The Mexican Pizza at Taco Bell is a flat, crispy tortilla covered with pizza sauce and either beans or ground beef, that is topped with another tortilla, along with cheese, sauce and tomatoes. It has become a fan favorite over the years, but now customers may have to choose between a few options of Mexican Pizzas. According to CNN, Taco Bell is currently testing a new version call the Cheesy Jalapeño Mexican Pizza in Oklahoma City and one called the Triple Crunch Mexican Pizza in Omaha, Nebraska.

The Cheesy Jalapeño Mexican Pizza is “cheesier and spicier” than the original, while the Triple Crunch Mexican Pizza has “more to love.” Both will go on sale in those markets on December 22. Hopefully they are brought to menus nationwide soon.
