Back in 2020, Taco Bell did something than many of their fans deemed unforgivable. As businesses were dealing with product shortages, Taco Bell decided to scale back their menu taking away a number of fan favorite items. The one that caused the most uproar was the elevation of the Mexican Pizza. However, the chain recently announced they are bringing back the Mexican Pizza permanently.
When Taco Bell announced in November 2020 that the Mexican Pizza would be removed from menus nationwide, fans of the fast food chain quickly took to the streets to protest. Despite an online petition garnering over 200,000 signatures, the fast food chain didn’t budge, keeping the popular item off menus. However, that has finally changed as starting May 19; the Mexican Pizza will be back for good.

According to CNN, the Mexican Pizza will cost $4.49. Taco Bell's loyalty program customers will even be able to order it two days before its reintroduction. With this move, many can now add Taco Bell back to their fast food rotation.
