Ted Nugent has never been afraid to let his opinion be known, and that includes his thoughts on the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The rock icon is constantly being included on lists of artists who deserve to be in the Hall of Fame, but is yet to be inducted despite being eligible since 2000.
Now, Nugent has taken a shot at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for inducting acts like Madonna, ABBA, Patti Smith, Grandmaster Flash and more before him and others.

During a recent interview, Ted Nugent was asked his thoughts on why he wasn’t in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Nugent claimed he doesn’t “take it personal,” but said the people keeping him out are “dishonest” and “rotten.” Of course, the rock icon didn’t stop there, taking shots at other artists who have been inducted before him.

“Why are Patti Smith, ABBA and Madonna in the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame, but not STYX?! Are you kidding me?! You can only explain that is that the people who made those decisions are just plain rotten people,” said Nugent. According to NME, Nugent went on to name other artists he feels should be inducted, such as Triumph. Sadly, this probably won’t help Nugent’s chances of getting in.
