As the cold weather swept through Texas last weekend, it brought a large amount of damage along with it. All over the state, homes and businesses dealt with pipes bursting due to the below freezing conditions. However, that wasn’t the only damage the state saw, as one Texan recently shared video of an HEB car wash completely frozen over.
On Saturday, someone in Lakeway, just outside of Austin, spotted an HEB car wash that had been completely filled with icicles. As seen in the now viral clip, even the car wash’s brush roller was completely encased in ice. The video was shared by Instagram by user @guthrie.atx.
According to UPI, the frozen pieces caused quite a bit of damage to the car wash once melted. The video was filmed when temperatures in the area dipped into the low double-digits. Hopefully the car wash is back up and running soon, and can avoid another freeze this winter.
