There are many different type of roller coasters at amusement parks throughout the world, and just about every thrill seeker has a favorite. However, for those that can’t decide on which style of roller coaster they like the most, they may want to check out SeaWorld San Antonio in 2023, when they launch their new ride that combines three different roller coaster styles. The popular Texas amusement park recently announced their new ride will be the first of its kind, combining a launched roller coaster, vertical lift elevator and water flume.

When SeaWorld San Antonio’s opens their new ride, Catapult Falls, it will feature the world’ steepest drop for a flume coaster. The ride not only will give riders a water experience like never before, but will also feature a vertical lift elevator with the thrill of a launched roller coaster. “Not only will it provide thrills for those wanting the exhilaration of a coaster-type ride, but being a water ride, it will give guests one more way to cool down in the hot Texas temperatures. It will be the perfect family adventure ride,” said Byron Surrett, SeaWorld San Antonio president.
