Businesses are always looking for new ways to find the best candidates possible for an open job. Sadly, far too often the people hired don’t end up being what their resume made them out to be. That’s why one business in Texas recently decided to take a different path for finding the right candidates for their job openings. They put up a sign that reads “now hiring non-stupid people,” and the owner claims the sign actually worked.
Pets Gone Wild Resort in Pasadena, Texas was having some trouble finding applicants for their job openings, so they decided to try something new. The owner put up a massive sign reading “now hiring non-stupid people” in front of the business that can be seen from the street. “We’re trying to weed out the people that do come in. We hired one last week that lasted three days," said owner Walter Parsons.

According to KHOU, since putting up the sign Pets Gone Wild Resort has received multiple applicants. Even with the new hires, the owner said he plans to keep the sign up for now. Maybe other businesses will soon try this tactic as well.
