Parents often complain that their kids play video games too much. However, as video game technology continues to improve, the allure of going outside to play shrinks. Sadly, that seems to be the case all throughout Texas, as a recent report claimed Texas plays more video games than any other state.

Solitaire Bliss recently unveiled a new report on video game usage per state. Looking at the hours played in each state, the report found that Texas was the most video game obsessed. According to CW33, Texans play on average 17 hours of video games per week.

Luckily Texans aren’t the only ones playing video games too much. “There’s something for everyone in the world of games; in fact, the Entertainment Software Association recently reported that 2 in 3 Americans play video games regularly,” said the Solitaire Bliss report. Based on this report, going outside to play may officially be a thing of the past.
