It has been 50 years since the Washington Senators moved to the metroplex and became the Texas Rangers. Now, in celebration of the team’s 50th anniversary, the Rangers announced a one-of-a-kind giveaway that any fan would be interested in, especially sneaker-heads. The team will give away a custom pair of Nike shoes to celebrate 50 years in North Texas.
On Thursday, the Texas Rangers took to Twitter to announce a special giveaway to commemorate the team’s 50th anniversary. There have been plenty of giveaways already this season, but none quite like this one.
According to CW33, the team will give away a one-of-a-kind pair of custom Nike shoes.
“In celebration of our 50th anniversary, we’ve teamed up with @jwdanklefs to drop a custom pair of 1970’s Rangers Nike Blazer Mid ’77s. RT for a chance to win these 1 of 1 kicks!” the team wrote on Twitter. There was no announcement on when the giveaway will end, so retweet away. Whoever gets the shoes will definitely make all other Ranger fans jealous.
