Opening Day for the Texas Rangers is only a few days away, and while many fans are excited to see if the team can turn it around and contend for the World Series this year, some are more focused on all the new food coming to Globe Life Field. This year the team has topped themselves once again, adding a number of new food stands and items to get fans excited for the 2023 season.

On Monday, The Texas Rangers unveiled the new food items featured at Globe Life Field this year. Sticking with the “everything’s bigger in Texas” motto, the team will sell a 2-foot long burger this year, The Boomstick Burger, that features a Nolan Ryan Beef patty topped with Texas Chili Company Chili, Rico's Nacho Cheese and Jalapenos, and Onion Rings on a brioche bun. According to Dallas Culture Map, some of the other items include the Brisket Croissant, Corn Ribs, Flamin Hot Cheetos Pretzel, Pizza Dawwg and the PLT Sandwich.

Along with the new food items, the stadium will now include stands for local restaurants such as The Tin Cup, Cartel Taco Bar, Hurtado Barbecue and more. “Between the culinary offerings, bolstered retail selection, and new fan-facing technology, there’s a lot to be excited about for the upcoming Rangers season,” said Casey Rapp, Delaware North’s general manager at the ballpark. With these items, the 2023 season should be great whether the Rangers win or lose.
