Plenty of people may be tired of all the reboots and remakes that have been released over the last few years, but they always seem to come around when it’s one of their favorite shows being brought back. That’s exactly how most have reacted to the news of Showtime rebooting the beloved series ‘Dexter.’ Now, the first trailer for the revival is finally here, and fans are very excited to see Michael C. Hall return to one of his most iconic characters.
While the trailer didn’t provide any information on what’s to come in the new season, it was enough to get fans excited for the show’s return. In the trailer, an eerie, snowy landscape is shown as the camera travels through a window, ending on the main character starring down the camera. Despite no additional scenes shown, fans were relieved the show’s darkness appears to be returning as well.
According to NME, the upcoming season will include 10 episodes and will take place 10 years after the events of the show’s final season. Other than Michael C. Hall, it is unknown which actors from the original series will appear in the reboot as well. After eight years, Dexter’s return can’t come soon enough.
