When adults look back on their childhood, most are usually left amazed at how differently kids live today. While many complain about the way kids entertain themselves in 2021, some of the most beloved toys of the past have come into question in recent years. Despite some toys being removed from shelves, a recent Reddit page has been flooded with people reminiscing about the toy that would be "too dangerous" today, and the scars they likely caused.

Over the weekend, someone posted a question on the popular 'AskReddit page' asking; "What toys did you have as a child that would be considered too dangerous to be given to a child today?" This created a chain reaction of nostalgia, with over 10,000 users commenting on the post. According to Fox News, some of the most memorable toys listed include; realistic-looking toy guns, fake cigarettes, lawn darts and more.

"My parents were cleaning out their garage a few months ago and found the lawn darts my mom had when she was a kid. If you thought they were dangerous originally, just imagine rusted-out lawn darts from the '60s," said one commenter. Many agreed, saying they couldn't believe the toys the played with in the past. Kids today don't know how easy they have it.
