Fans of certain television series are always looking for ways to bring the universe created in the show to real life. One way fans are often able to do this is by recreating food items featured in the show. Now, fans of ‘The Office’ have done just that, creating a cookbook featuring beet recipes from Schrute Farms.
‘Beet This: An Unofficial Schrute Farms Cookbook’ was created by fans of ‘The Office;’ Keith Riegert, Sam Kaplan and Tyanni Miles. After spending endless hours re-watching their favorite series, the three fans decided it was time they tried to create a cookbook surrounding the beloved series. “We’d always been talking about doing an ‘Office’ cookbook, but it’s an intimidating subject. It’s such a well-loved show and such a great character in Dwight Schrute,” said Riegert.
According to Screen Rant, the book features recipes for Beet Biscuits with Rabbit Gravy, a Beet and Cabbage Salad, Beet Fries, Russian Beet Soup, Whole Roasted Beets, Moist Chocolate-Beet Cake, Home-Distilled Beet Vodka and more. While not everyone is a fan of beets, this cookbook is perfect for anyone still watching ‘The Office.’ Between the beet cookbook and the recipe for Kevin’s chili, fans of ‘The Office’ can have a feast.
