29 years ago, television was changed forever when 'The Real World' premiered on MTV. Now, with reality television bigger than ever, and classic shows being rebooted daily, the show's original cast is set to return for another season of the franchise they helped launch. The cast of 'Real World: New York' is back living under the same roof, as the will appear in a new series set to premiere on the new streaming service, Paramount Plus.

'The Real World Homecoming: New York' will see the return of original 'Real World' cast members; Becky Blasband, Andre Comeau, Heather B. Gardner, Julie Gentry, Norman Korpi, Eric Nies and Kevin Powell, according to Rolling Stone. Like the show's first season, the cast will be living in a New York loft as they catch up and discuss how their lives were changed from the show. "The Real World is credited with creating the Reality TV genre and was one of the first series to tackle important and yet unrepresented topics such as LGBTQ, race, gender, HIV/AIDS and religion," said President of MTV Entertainment Group Chris McCarthy.

The show is set to premiere on the streaming service of March 4. Hopefully 29 years later, the same issues between cast members don't get brought back up.
