Any time a new cruise ship claims the title of the world’s largest ship; many can’t help but think about the iconic film, ‘Titanic.’ Still, that hasn’t stopped thousands of guests from signing up for the maiden voyage of the new record holder. It was announced recently that the world’s largest cruise ship ever will set sail next month from Florida and many can’t wait to see what the ship has to offer.

After a number of delays, Royal Caribbean’s latest massive cruise ship is set to take off on a voyage that has been three years in the making. Wonder of the Seas measures at 1,188 feet long and has capacity for 6,988 guests and 2,300 crew members. The 18-deck cruise ship will take off from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, to the Caribbean on March 4.

“From planning to delivery, we've utilized our expertise across Royal Caribbean, as well as incorporating our guest's suggestions and travel partner feedback to create something truly awe-inspiring," said Mark Tamis, senior vice president of hotel operations at Royal Caribbean International. According to CNN, the ship features eight neighborhoods, the “tallest slide at sea,” a 10-deck-high zip line and a huge poolside movie screen. As long as guests avoid watching ‘Titanic,’ it should be hard to have a bad time.
