There is a ton of Texas pride throughout the entire Lone Star state. However, for those in DFW; there is nothing better than seeing the metroplex outdoing other cities in Texas. Now, a new survey has named three DFW neighborhoods as the best places to live in Texas, with multiple DFW neighborhoods cracking the top 10.

According to the survey done by niche.com, the three best neighborhoods to live in are all located in Richardson; Cotton Creek South, Heights Park and Canyon Creek South. Other DFW neighborhoods making the list include; Timberbrook in Plano at number five, Preston Highlands in Dallas at seven and Richardson’s Canyon Creek North neighborhood at number eight. All of the neighborhoods making the top 10 scored an A+ rating from the site, according to WFAA.

The rankings were created by using data from the U.S. Census Bureau, FBI, U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and the CDC, along with resident reviews. Many in DFW were thrilled by the list, especially those living in the neighborhoods that made the list. Hopefully next year, there is an even bigger DFW takeover of the best places to live in Texas list.
