Lions may be the king of the jungle, but housecats are definitely the king of the internet. It’s almost impossible to surf the web without eventually running into a photo, gif or video of a cat doing something either adorable or hilarious. Now, someone has used a cat to somehow make one of the most beloved movies of all-time even better.
Over the weekend, popular YouTube account, OwlKitty, shared a video replacing Kate Winslet with a cat in the ‘Titanic’ trailer. In the video that has since gone viral, Leonardo DiCaprio’s character travels around the ship with a cat by his side. Since being shared, the video has been viewed over 900,000 times, according to Boing Boing.
This is not the first time OwlKitty has gone viral using a cat to parody an iconic film. Previously, the YouTuber has used a cat in films such as ‘Jaws,’ ‘Jurassic Park,’ ‘Indiana Jones’ and more. Soon enough the cat will be an actual Hollywood star.
