In most cases, trends that become popular on the internet and go viral are forgotten within weeks. However, somehow Rickrolling has remained relevant years after first being introduced. The online prank where links lead to the music video for Rick Astley’s ‘Never Gonna Give You Up’ never gets old, and now; Toyota has joined the fun with possibly the biggest Rickroll ever.

Toyota recently held an event, introducing 15 electric vehicles expected to hit the roads in the future. While fans were stunned at the reveal, the biggest surprise came in the form of a QR code plastered to one of the cars. The tiny concept car known as the “Micro Box” had a QR code on the front that led viewers to the Rick Astley video, Rickrolling anyone who scanned the code.

According to Fox Business, the car’s QR code could be used for a car-sharing scheme or other fleet management systems in the future. However, for now it is there to Rickroll the world. Maybe it will even Rickroll drivers when it eventually hits the road.
