With many bands currently on hiatus, the internet has become the place to go for live music. Not only have musicians been performing live online, but there are plenty of old concerts from beloved groups available on the internet as well. Now, U2 announced they are joining the party, as they are set to release four iconic concerts in full online.

U2 announced recently they will be adding the four classic concerts to their official YouTube page as part of their new ‘U2: The Virtual Road’ series. The concerts being added include; Slane Castle (2001), Red Rocks (1983), Mexico City (1997) and Paris (2015). It will be the first time their Slane Castle, Red Rocks and Mexico City concerts will be made available digitally.

The series will officially begin on St Patrick’s Day 2021 with ‘U2 Go Home: Live From Slane Castle,’ according to NME. Many fans are excited as they will finally get to see show’s they dreamed of going to at the time. Hopefully more iconic shows will be added as well.
