Advancements in technology have made some of the simplest tasks even easier in recent years. Whether it’s getting somewhere using ride sharing, ordering food on a delivery app, or doing some online shopping, errands that used to be a hassle are now convenient and enjoyable. Now, one of the companies responsible for these changes has announced a new program, making things even easier for the consumer.

Uber recently announced a new pilot program that will allow users to make restaurant reservations, view local events and get a ride to local businesses with a single click. The new feature was launched recently in 14 cities, including Dallas. According to Dallas Morning News, the new feature can be found in the “explore” tab on the app.

“People have always come to the Uber app for the point A to point B piece of the journey — so we’re thrilled to expand and help inspire the destination, too,” said product lead for Uber Explore Adib Roumani. Along with options for food, nightlife and events, the app will also make recommendations based on the user’s history on Uber. Soon everything in life will be one click away.
