Luka Doncic may already by one of the best players in the NBA, but he is still only 24 years old. That’s why it shouldn’t come as a surprise that in his free time the Dallas Mavericks star enjoys playing video games. Still, many were stunned recently when Doncic was randomly teamed up with a video game streamer who happened to be live on Twitch at the time.
On Tuesday, a video game streamer known as "m0xyy" logged on to Twitch to play ‘Overwatch 2’ when his group was teamed up with someone they never could have expected. While sparking up a conversation with the player that was using username Donatello, the streamer quickly realized he may be playing with someone famous. The random player said he plays basketball, and when asked what team, he replied “Dallas Mavericks.”
As seen in the clip that has since gone viral, the player asks a few more questions before asking for Doncic’s autograph. According to WFAA, it was later confirmed the player was indeed Doncic, who has previously discussed being a fan of the game ‘Overwatch 2.’ Now, ‘Overwatch 2’ may become the most popular game in DFW, as fans hope to be the next to get teamed up with Doncic.
