Virtual concert honoring David Bowie announces lineup including Duran Duran, Peter Frampton and more

With many concerts canceled over the last year, people are ready to get back to seeing live music in person once again. However, there is one more virtual concert going on this week that people won’t want to miss. The concert honoring the late David Bowie announced their lineup recently, and it is full of fan favorites.

‘A Bowie Celebration: Just for One Day!’ will take place on January 8 and will include performances by Duran Duran, Def Leppard singer Joe Elliott, Peter Frampton, Nine Inch Nails, Rick Wakeman, Adam Lambert, Perry Farrell, and Billy Corgan, along with Comedian Ricky Gervais and Academy Award winner Gary Oldman. Also announced was a super group featuring Dave Navarro, Corey Taylor and Taylor Hawkins.

’A Bowie Celebration: Just for One Day!’ will be an experience to be talked about for years,” claimed a press release for the show. Duran Duran also announced they will release a Bowie cover song on the day on the show. The concert honoring Bowie will take place on what would have been his 74th birthday, five years after his death. This lineup makes this virtual concert one that fans won’t want to miss.
