It has been less than a year since Walmart first introduced drone deliveries at a limited number of locations nationwide, but the service has been so successful, the company is now ready to expand it even further. Walmart announced this week plans to launch drone deliveries at two more DFW locations. Both stores are expected to have drone delivery by the end of 2023.

Walmart recently announced a partnership with Wing, the drone delivery provider powered by Alphabet, to provide drone deliveries to two locations in North Texas. According to Axios, one of those locations will be the Frisco store on Preston Road. That store will begin offering drone deliveries next month.

The other location is yet to be announced, but Walmart says drone deliveries will begin by the end of the year. There are already 11 DFW Walmart locations offering drone deliveries, but those are through a partnership with DroneUp. With more stores soon offering drone delivery, many North Texans may never have to walk into a Walmart again.
