With millions of people visiting the State Fair of Texas every year, it’s a guarantee there will be quite a few lost items throughout its run. While most lose items like their phones, wallet or keys, one woman lost something this year that isn’t as easily replaceable; her wedding ring. Luckily for the woman her “priceless” ring happened to be found by a jeweler, who was determined to return it to its rightful owner.

Marcie Moore and her husband recently made the trip from Edmond, Oklahoma to visit the State Fair of Texas. However, on their way back Moore realized she had left something at Fair Park, her wedding ring. “I look down at my hand and realized that I didn’t have my ring on,” said Moore, who claimed she took off the ring to put on hand sanitizer and eat tacos.

Moore quickly called the lost and found, but sadly it had not been returned at that point, according to WFAA. Luckily, minutes after she called a jeweler, who recognized the value of the ring, brought it to lost and found for Moore to collect. Luckily the jeweler didn’t keep the ring, and Moore was able to go home without a bad fair experience.
