Any time Whataburger makes a change to their menu fans get a little worried, but luckily their latest alteration is guaranteed to put a smile on the faces of many Texans. For years, Whataburger loyalists have been begging the fast food chain to bring back the Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuit. Not only have they finally listened, but they have also announced the return of two other fan favorites and the addition of a new item as well.
After teasing its return for weeks, Whataburger finally announced the Jalapeño Cheddar Biscuit is back. While many fans were thrilled, the announcement only got better as the Texas-based chain revealed the Southern bacon double and the banana pudding shake are back as well. As if that wasn’t enough, Whataburger also announced they will be offering a BLT for the first time ever.
The new sandwich is “the ultimate simple and savory sandwich for summer,” said Whataburger Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer Rich Scheffler. According to Click2Houston, all four menu items will only be available for a limited time. With these menu changes, summer in Texas just got a lot better.
